Pinkberry announces U.S., international expansion


Los Angeles Pinkberry said it is planning an expansion into seven additional U.S. markets, as well as Mexico, with selected area developer franchise partners.

These markets support the frozen yogurt chain's national and global expansion strategy, including the recent highly successful launches in Kuwait and Dubai with franchise powerhouse M.H. Alshaya, and a debut this month in the Dallas market.

"We receive an overwhelming interest from the franchise community and evaluate every potential partner against a strict set of criteria to determine if they will be a fit with our growth strategy and our brand," said Ron Graves, Pinkberry CEO.

In addition to current strongholds in California and New York, Pinkberry has signed agreements with franchisees to expand into several key domestic and international markets including: Boston; Washington D.C.; Atlanta; Orlando, Fla.; Miami; Colorado; New Orleans; and Mexico.
