Piggly Wiggly to build new DC
New York City Piggly Wiggly Midwest will build a 40,000-sq.-ft. warehouse near its headquarters in Sheboygan, Wis., according to the Sheboygan Press.
The warehouse will expand existing storage space and allow for additional office space, as well as add parking for semi-trailers.
“Our plans are to continue to grow our business, and we need more room to do it,” said Paul Butera, the company’s owner, in a written news release.
Piggly Wiggly operates two distribution centers in Wisconsin, serving 96 Piggly Wiggly and 10 Butera Market stores in Wisconsin and Illinois.
