PetSmart promotes Thorn to SVP supply chain

PHOENIX, Ariz. PetSmart has promoted Bruce Thorn to SVP supply chain reporting to Joe O'Leary, SVP merchandising and supply chain. In his role, Thorn oversees all areas of supply chain including inventory replenishment and planning, supply chain solutions, transportation and the company's network of distribution centers.

Thorn, who joined the company in 2007 as VP supply chain solutions, has served as VP supply chain for the past year.

Prior to joining PetSmart, he served as chief operating officer for LESCO, a public company and leader in the professional turf care industry.
