Petco on track with store expansion

Specialty retailer Petco will open seven new stores in April as part of its 2016 growth plan, which includes 20 new store openings year-to-date.



In addition to the seven new locations, the retailer is also expanding one location to accommodate growth in Swampscott, Massachusetts, and remodeling seven stores in San Antonio.



Each new and remodeled store will offer pet parents, and their pets, dog training areas, adoption centers, grooming salons and modern Wellness Centers. In addition, newly added in-store habitats for adoptable pets will enhance Petco's monthly in-store adoption events for



Petco’s seven new stores openings are as follows:

  Bronx, New York;


• 
  Grandview, Missouri;


• 
  Roanoke, Virginia;


• 
  Dover, Delaware;


• 
  Los Angeles;


• 
  Willowbrook, Illinois; and


• 
  Rochester, New Hampshire.

Petco operates more than 1,430 locations across the U.S., Mexico and Puerto Rico.
