Pet Supplies Plus taps former Sports Authority exec as CFO
LIVONIA, Mich. — Pet Supplies Plus has named former Sports Authority executive Dan Boose as the company’s CFO.
Boose has more than 25 years of finance experience and more than 15 years of operating experience in the specialty retail sector. As CFO, Boose will be charged with positioning PSP to execute its growth plan with an emphasis on strong profitability and operating efficiency.
Boose joins PSP after spending 13 years at the Sports Authority. He most recently served as SVP for finance and accounting and was a member of the senior leadership team. Prior to the Sports Authority, Boose held financial roles at Brinker International, Rent-A-Center and Kraft General Foods. Boose began his career at Deloitte and is a certified public accountant. He earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Kansas State University and an M.B.A. from Indiana University.
