Pep Boys names new director to board

PHILADELPHIA The Pep Boys – Manny, Moe & Jack today announced the appointment of a new director to its board.

Dr. Irvin Reid, president of Wayne State University, has joined the board in the place of Max Lukens, who resigned for personal reasons. Reid will serve on the audit committee of the board.

In addition to serving as president of Wayne State University, Dr. Reid also serves as a director of Mack-Cali Realty and Handleman, and sits on the board of the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago (Detroit branch).
