Peapod expands service into Madison, Wis.

Chicago Less than two weeks after Albertsons discontinued its home delivery service, Peapod announced it expanded its delivery program to Madison, Wis.

Residents of Madison, Sun Prairie, Middleton and Waunakee can now visit www.peapod.com and shop for dry goods, fresh perishables including fruit, vegetables, seafood, meat and dairy, as well as home and office goods. They can also choose from national brands and private label items.

The online service also guides shoppers to create personalized lists, access personalized online coupons and attain nutritional information of merchandise. Peapod is also offering next-day delivery.
