Payvision expands payment processing platform
Payvision, an independent payment services provider, has added JCB Card to its global payment portfolio. As the only international payment card brand based in Japan, JCB has a strong presence in Asia, while processing secure payment transactions for its expanding network of 24 million merchants worldwide.
Chinese Wing Hang Bank adds yet another brand to its expanding card portfolio, and Payvision is able to leverage its partnership with the bank to offer its customer-base in Hong Kong and Macau a new secure card payment solution — which means they can benefit from profitable cross-border e-commerce opportunities between China and Japan. Alongside with Visa and MasterCard, merchants can now add JCB Card to their payment portfolio when processing through Payvision.
"We are delighted to extend the online acceptance of JCB Card for our partnership with Payvision. We have the confidence that it will bring significant benefits to our merchants, to JCB and also to Payvision," said Stephen Wong, Wing Hang Bank's senior deputy general manager and head of retail banking division.
"We are excited to add JCB Card processing to our existing portfolio. This marks another milestone in our solid partnership with Wing Hang Bank. We have a large customer base, interested to target the Asian market and with JCB Card in our payment portfolio, we can provide these merchants with ways to expand their footprint into Asia," said Willy Kwa Kok Leng, Payvision's VP sales in the APAC region.
