The Parent Company names former Amazon exec as chairman
DENVER Todd Edebohls, former director of business development and sales for Amazon.com has been named chairman of the board of directors at The Parent Company, a leading commerce, content and new media company for growing families.
During his international, business-building Amazon tenure of 1999 to 2007, Edebohls created and managed enterprise software, customer service, and fulfillment services operating agreements in the US and Europe; lead business development in Japan and China; originated key partnerships for the company's entry into the apparel, jewelry, beauty, travel, flowers, and other market segments; and negotiated marketing, patent license, Web services, and a wide range of other agreements, including toys- and baby-related strategic alliances.
