Papa John's Hits Web-Ordering Milestone
Louisville, Ky. Papa John's has passed the $1 billion mark in Internet pizza sales. The company said Internet orders have climbed more than 50% a year since the service started seven years ago. The hottest markets for Papa John's Internet orders are the Austin, Texas, and Washington, D.C., areas.
A company official said while it took seven years to reach that first billion-dollar plateau, forecasts indicate it will take fewer than three years to hit the next billion.
