Panavision names president and CEO

WOODLAND HILLS, Calif. Panavision announced that William Campbell III has been named to the position of president and CEO. He will oversee all domestic and foreign operations and management of the leading supplier of digital and film camera systems and lighting to the motion picture and television industry.

Campbell was most recently president of Discovery Networks, where he was responsible for all aspects of the domestic television division's 14 channels, including programming, production, affiliate sales and marketing and business development. He has also held various executive positions in programming and development at ABC, CBS and Warner Brothers Television as well as president of Miramax Television.
