Overstock.com is giving teachers more than apples

Overstock.com has come up with an exclusive back to school offer designed to appeal to teachers.

The retailer is offering free Club O loyalty program memberships to teachers of all grade levels. With every purchase on Overstock.com, Club O members receive free shipping and a minimum of 5% back in Club O Rewards Dollars to spend on the online shopping website.

Teachers can go to www.overstock.com/cluboclassroom or click on the "Teachers & Students" icon at the bottom of the Club O Rewards Program page to sign up for the program. Interested educators must first verify their identity using a .edu email address or other applicable criteria through Overstock.com partner ID.me to receive their free Club O membership.

"This is just one small way for us to say 'thank you' to teachers for their hard work in the classroom," said Overstock.com President Stormy Simon. "Hopefully the ability to use Club O reward dollars on purchases from our Teacher's Headquarters will help stretch classroom budgets."

Military servicemen and women, students, and first responders are all also eligible for free annual Club O memberships, which is available to any customer for a one-time fee of $19.99.
