Online lingerie retailer gets a big-name CMO
NEW YORK — Online lingerie retailer BareNecessities.com announced that it has named Jay Dunn as its new CMO.
Dunn was the former VP/CMO of Lane Bryant and the man behind the company's controversial "Red Bra" campaign that was banned from ABC for being "too sexy." The campaign went viral and ended up winning several awards and being named Brandweek's top story of 2010.
Dunn's experience as a marketer has included leading teams to produceaward-winningcampaigns for Brookstone and The Home Depot, as well as Lane Bryant. Hesits on the board of directors of retail advertising and marketing association (a division of the National Retail Federation).He is also founder of supergroup, the social network for marketing, social media, retail and designprofessionals, and co-author of "The Art of Social Sales."
Dunn holds a BAfrom University of South Florida and an MBA from UNC-Chapel Hill.
