OfficeMax launches iPhone app

Naperville, Ill. OfficeMax said Thursday it has introduced a free app for the iPhone on Apple's App Store. The OfficeMax App, available for iPhone and iPod touch, is designed to help customers shop smarter and access information and rewards on the go, the company reported.

OfficeMax's new mobile shopping app provides real-time benefits to customers, including the ability to view exclusive deals and offers, locate OfficeMax stores, and click through to the mobile-friendly OfficeMax.com site to browse office supply products from their mobile device, the company said. The OfficeMax App also enables OfficeMax MaxPerks loyalty members to access their account, view reward program progress, edit account information, browse purchase history, and redeem rewards at the register right from their iPhone.
