OfficeMax launches four exclusive BTS lines
NAPERVILLE, Ill. OfficeMax has launched four new exclusive collections for back-to-school--Kritter Krew, Flower Power, Peace Out and Posey. Designed with a younger, style-conscious student in mind, the new collections feature school supplies in pop art-style colors and shapes.
"Kids get enthusiastic about picking out school supplies and parents aren't going to want to let budget concerns squash that excitement," said Ryan Vero, evp and chief merchandising officer for OfficeMax. "These OfficeMax products let the kids have excitement in style and design, but won't break their parents' back-to-school shopping budget."
The new collections include back-to-school essentials like notebooks, jumbo paperclips, memo cubes, backpacks, scented markers, key chains, two-pocket portfolios, lunch boxes and more.
Kritter Krew features animal-like creatures such as monkeys, cats, dogs, elephants and bears. Flower Power products are covered with pink and purple retro-style flowers. Peace Out includes blue, white and green peace signs and psychedelic patterns. And Posey boasts popular patterns, bold colors and eye-catching modern shapes.
OfficeMax's four new product lines were designed by Debra Hovel of Taxi, a design and trend research agency based in Minneapolis. "In today's on-trend world, what a student carries--from notebooks and folders to backpacks and writing tools--is essentially an expression of him or herself," said Hovel. "Working with OfficeMax on these four new lines is an opportunity for us to inspire every student, regardless of their school supply 'style,' to get excited about going back to school."
