OfficeMax chief named to Nash Finch board

MINNEAPOLIS Nash Finch today announced that Sam Duncan, chairman, president and ceo of OfficeMax, has been elected to the company's board of directors.

Prior to joining OfficeMax in 2005, Duncan was president and ceo of ShopKo Stores from 2002-2005. Previously, he held various leadership positions from 1992-2002 at Fred Meyer Inc., including president of Fred Meyer and president of Ralph’s Supermarkets. Duncan worked from 1969-1992 at Albertson’s Inc.
