Office Depot recognized for customer service

2/2/2009

BOCA RATON, Fla. Office Depot announced that it has been named a finalist in the third annual “Stevie Awards for Sales and Customer Service” honoring excellence in customer service.

Office Depot is being recognized as a finalist in three distinct categories: “Innovation in Customer Service,” “Best Use of Technology in Customer Service,” and “Customer Service Team of the Year-Recovery.”

Office Depot won the Stevie Award in 2004 for the company’s breakthrough “Voice of the Customer” initiative designed to enhance the customer experience, promote quality in customer-related processes and incorporate customer feedback into these processes.

“At Office Depot, customer focus is one of our core values. We listen to our customers’ needs and passionately deliver on our promises,” said Tim McGrath, Vice President of Customer Service for the North American Business Solutions Division of Office Depot. “Being named a finalist in three categories is an honor and a testament to Office Depot’s commitment to taking care of business for our customers.”

More than 500 entries from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted to this year's competition, which has 27 categories for customer service.
