10/30/2012

BOCA RATON, Fla. — Office Depot's Frantz Tiffeau, senior manager supply chain diversity for Office Depot, has been appointed to the position of vice chair of the National Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC) Procurement Council. In this position, Tiffeau will help to expand opportunities for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT)-owned businesses and continue to build and foster inclusive corporate procurement practices. Tiffeau previously led the education subcommittee of the NGLCC Procurement Council.

“I am honored and excited to join the Procurement Council as vice chair and look forward to working with all the council members as we continue to grow and support the success of LGBT supplier diversity,” Tiffeau said.

The NGLCC Procurement Council is comprised of supplier diversity and procurement representatives from NGLCC corporate partners that are active in the LGBT Supplier Diversity Initiative.

“Frantz is one of our most energetic and committed supplier diversity advocates, which is why we are so thrilled to have him join Procurement Council leadership," said Justin Nelson, NGLCC co-founder and president. "The NGLCC Supplier Diversity Initiative continues to benefit from support and guidance of an engaged leader like Frantz.”

As senior manager supply chain diversity, Tiffeau is responsible for managing the national diverse reseller program at Office Depot and educating the company’s sales organization on all aspects of supplier diversity. He also aided in developing the first and only LGBT Tier One Supplier Diversity partnership with Office Depot, and guided the company to give both monetary and in-kind support to LGBT events such as the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force’s Winter Party Festival and Miami Recognition dinner.
