ODP fires international division head for improper relationship
BOCA RATON, Fla. —Office Depot has fired the president of its international business for "having an improper relationship."
Charlie Brown, president of the international division, has left the organization, effective Monday, the company announced in a press release.
"Charlie Brown was terminated for having an improper relationship withanother associate," said Neil Austrian, Office Depot's chairman andCEO. "The company has a zero tolerance policy inthis regard. Our business leadership in Europe and Asia will now reportto me, and Mike Newman, EVP and CFO, will assume responsibility for our joint venture with OfficeDepot de Mexico as well as our overall Latin American development."
