Oakleaf among Top 100 fastest-growing inner-city companies
East Hartford, Conn. For the sixth consecutive year, Oakleaf, a leader in sustainable waste logistics and recycling solutions, has been recognized as one of the fastest growing inner city businesses in the United States. The 10th annual Inner City 100 competition, created by Initiative for a Competitive Inner City (ICIC), identifies, celebrates and supports the 100 fastest-growing inner-city companies across the United States.
In 2009, Oakleaf was inducted into the ICIC Hall of Fame. Since the inaugural Inner City 100 list in 1999, a select group of dynamic inner city businesses have been recognized as repeat Inner City 100 winners because of their astounding growth rates over a sustained period.
"2010 marks our sixth consecutive year of making the Inner City 100," said Marc Okrant, VP marketing, Oakleaf. "This year, the award illustrates our continued commitment to clients, vendors and our city. Oakleaf has been progressively earning market share, which means both employee and territory growth. It's an award we are very proud to receive and regard very highly."
