NRF names new VP loss prevention

The National Retail Federation, Washington, D.C., named Rhett Asher VP loss prevention. In this role, Asher will direct all of the organization’s loss prevention initiatives, including managing NRF’s annual Loss Prevention Conference, the LP Advisory Council and NRF Investigator’s Network.

Asher has 20 years of retail experience and most recently served as executive director for the Loss Prevention Foundation, a not-for-profit organization based in Charlotte, N.C.

He is replacing Joseph LaRocca, who will now serve as NRF’s senior asset protection advisor. LaRocca will continue to serve as an intermediary between NRF members and various private and government entities.
