NRF names new applications vp

WASHINGTON NRF has announced the promotion of Karen Shunk to vp of applications development. In this role she will manage the design, development, testing and implementation of in-house software applications, and the review/selection of all package software applications.

For the last four years Shunk worked as senior director, technology standards. Prior to joining NRF’s IT department, Shunk served as senior director, member services. Shunk came to NRF from the Food Marketing Institute.
