Northwest Airlines and GuestLogix team for onboard retail technology

Atlanta GuestLogix, a provider of onboard retail solutions to the airline industry, announced on Monday that Northwest Airlines, a subsidiary of Delta Air Lines, has selected its point-of-sale handhelds and retail transaction platform.

The POS handhelds and retail transaction platform will be deployed on Northwest's entire fleet as part of Delta's continuing onboard experience alignment for Northwest.

Delta has used the GuestLogix solution since late 2007.

Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.
