Nordstrom opens first international flagship

Nordstrom Inc. has opened its first international flagship location. The luxury retailer opened its new store at Pacific Centre inVancouver, British Columbiaon Friday, Sept. 18.

The 230,000-sq.-ft. flagship store offers a curated selection of merchandise from accessible to luxury price points.

Pacific Centre marks the third of six announced Nordstrom stores to open inCanadathrough 2017. Future openings include: Toronto Eaton Centre openingSept. 16, 2016; Yorkdale Centre,TorontoopeningOct., 2016; and Sherway Gardens,Torontoin spring 2017.

The store is the sixth to feature the company's newest design concepts, which incorporates natural light with a single surface floor. The flagship store will also offer several services, includingconcierge, 24-Hour express service, two-hour delivery, China UnionPay, shoe shine, language ambassadors, studio services, a JWN private shopping suite,Canada'sfirst-ever Sugarfina candy shop and Drybar blowout bar, three food offerings and more.
