Nordstrom Delays Store Opening

Seattle Nordstrom plans to delay the opening of its store at the St. Louis Galleria from 2010 to 2011, citing the state of the economy and a cutback in consumer spending.

Nordstrom announced plans to open up the store in 2006.

Nordstrom reported that same-store sales fell 15.9% in November compared with the same time a year earlier.
