Nokia Opens New Online Music Store

Helsinki, Finland Nokia expanded its online music store, which debuted in Great Britain in November. The company plans to expand the online platform to nine more countries by mid-2008, including France, Italy and Spain.

Nokia’s new German music store will charge 1 euro ($1.52) per track, compared with Apple’s iTunes’ $0.99 charge.

 Nokia said it would expand further in Europe and Asia in the second part of the year.
