No more love at Levitz, company going out of business
WASHINGTON After nearly a century, Levitz Furniture is going out of business.
According to reports, the bankrupt company will be purchased by a group of liquidators for $48 million. The purchase follows Levitz filing for Chapter 11 for the third time in less than 10 years.
Going-out of-business sales are currently taking place at Levitz stores across the country. According to reports, Levitz will get a portion of the proceeds from these sales.
