Nike appoints new VPs, GMs of retail and women’s
Nike has appointed a new VP and GM of its stores and its women’s line. Heidi O’Neill will work with Nike stores, and Amy Montagne has been placed with NIKE Women’s.
“These two appointments demonstrate our commitment to investing in our retail experience and our women’s business – two of our most strategic growth opportunities,” Nike brand president Trevor Edwards said. “We’re delighted to elevate two seasoned Nike leaders in these important roles.”
O’Neill has been with Nike since 1998, where she has served as VP of the company’s U.S. apparel and most recently, VP and GM of Nike Women’s, where Montagne will take her place. She is the first person to take on the newly created role overseeing Nike’s worldwide stores. She’ll also work on developing new stores and oversee the company’s partner retail locations.
Montagne will be filling O’Neill’s most recent role at Nike, where she will work on growing the brand among its target demographic. Since joining Nike nine years ago, she’s been the VP, GM of global merchandising and VP of global running merchandising.
