Niemann Foods deploys Retalix HQ

Dallas Retalix said Tuesday that Niemann Foods of Quincy, Ill., has selected Retalix HQ to replace the grocer’s legacy pricing system at 36 supermarkets it operates under the County Market and Cub Foods banners in Illinois, Missouri and Iowa.

Niemann Foods will also utilize two additional Retalix HQ modules, including Category Analyzer for item/profit movement analysis and Bill Back Manager for capturing earned promotional dollars from suppliers.

“We needed a new price management system that could give us the automation and efficiency needed to reduce operating costs and maintain our competitive edge,” said Larry Schaffer, director of information technology at Niemann Foods.

Niemann Foods operates 84 retail grocery stores in the Midwest region.
