New Line of Ice-Cream Cabinets From Master-Bilt

7/21/2008

New Albany, N.Y. Master-Bilt, New Albany, Miss., has introduced its BHC Series, a new line of self-contained bottom-mounted ice-cream hardening and holding cabinets.

The BHC Series consists of three models that offer increased cost-savings, as well as a convenient bottom mounted refrigeration system.  The bottom-mounted system raises the lower shelf, making heavy ice-cream containers easier to access.

The single door BHC-27 is available in 115v and 230v versions, while the two-door BHC-48E is available in 230v. The 230v versions operate on both 60 and 50-cycle power, which makes them adaptable for overseas use.

All models are equipped with efficiency features that reduce the amount of energy expelled to maintain the temperature of the cabinet. The refrigeration system features a low-maintenance bare tube condenser coil that reduces the amount of trapped debris, eliminating unnecessary labor costs by requiring cleaning typically only once a year. An electronic controller with a digital thermometer and ala function offer a combination of efficiency, accuracy, and reliability. User-friendly, self-closing doors, have a 90? hold-open feature and sure-sealing magnetic gaskets to assure a tight seal.

The BHC-27 stores 24 three-gallon cans, while the BHC-48E offers the capacity to store 48 three-gallon cans. They are constructed of 24-gauge white painted galvanized steel on the interior and exterior and feature four adjustable, heavy-duty epoxy-coated pilaster-supported wire shelves per door and two-in. thick foamed-in-place polyurethane insulated walls.
