New execs named at Tractor Supply

BRENTWOOD, Tenn. — Tractor Supply Company announced Monday that Alexander Stanton has been appointed as SVP supply chain and Christine Skold has been appointed as VP investor relations, strategy and tractor value system.

Stanton will be responsible for logistics, transportation, distribution centers, inventory management and pricing. Stanton joined Tractor Supply Company in April 2006 as VP finance and was later promoted to SVP finance and strategy. In his new role, he will report directly to Gregory Sandfort , president and chief merchandising officer.

Skold will assume the investor relations and strategic planning functions previously held by Stanton and will retain management responsibilities for TVS, the company's continuous improvement program based on LEAN principles. Skold joined Tractor Supply Company in September 2002 and has held prior leadership roles in accounting, internal audit and TVS. In her new role, she will continue to report to Anthony Crudele, CFO.
