New execs appointed at Movie Gallery

DOTHAN, Ala. Movie Gallery announced that Craig Miller has been appointed cio of the company. He will be responsible for enhancing the capability of Movie Gallery's information technology and will report to C.J. Gabriel, Jr., the company's president and ceo.

The company also announced that Guy Marsala has been appointed evp of operations. Marsala reports directly to Sherif Mityas, coo of Movie Gallery. He will be responsible for store operations, field support operations and loss prevention.

Miller most recently served as senior vp at Bank of America where he held various leadership positions in enterprise information management, business intelligence, mergers and acquisitions, and infrastructure optimization.

Marsala most recently served as division president and coo at Corinthian Colleges, one of the largest career education companies in North America with revenues of $1 billion.
