New CVS to feature supermarket-styled checkout

New York City TRB Development Group, Hookset, N.H., is renovating a 25,000-sq.-ft. building in Brighton, Mass., that will house a CVS Pharmacy (and an additional tenant). Scheduled to open in October 2009, the new CVS will feature two grocery-style checkout aisles as opposed to the standard checkout counter, and one pharmacy drive-through.

The exterior will be masonry split-faced block and brick over the existing wood frame and Werzalit sliding with PVC trim.

The project was designed by BKA Architects of Boston.
