New Chief at SmartBargains

Boston, On-line retailer SmartBargains appointed James Held chairman of the board and acting CEO, replacing previous CEO Carl Rosendorm, who will continue as director and advisor to the company. Held has been a SmartBargains board member since early 2004 and is president of JPBK Consulting. From 1995 to 2000, he served as CEO of Home Shopping Network (HSN).
