Netflix, Facebook partner for user reviews

Los Gatos, Calif. Netflix said it is integrating with a Facebook service that will let users link accounts from the two and share movie ratings.

Netflix said the link with Facebook Connect will extend members' movie ratings from the Netflix community to the Facebook community. Netflix members decide if they want to use Facebook Connect and can turn it on or off at any time.

Each time a Netflix member rates a movie, that one- to five-star rating can be posted on his or her Facebook profile and shared.

Movie-rating posts on Facebook will also link back to the correlating movie page at Netflix so other members can add movies to their own queues.
