Dallas - Neiman Marcus Group customers will be able to purchase items through the new “Buyable Pins” e-commerce service across Pinterest, including the company’s Pinterest page, later in June. Millions of pins on Pinterest will now become buyable, meaning customers will be able to purchase Neiman Marcus items they have pinned or discovered on any iOS-enabled device with a few taps.
This service will be solely offered in the U.S. at this time. This announcement follows the addition of LIKEtoKNOW.it to the Neiman Marcus Instagram account, which facilitates commerce through social media, in May. Neiman Marcus also recently launched the Snap.Find.Shop visual search feature on the Neiman Marcus Shopping App, which suggest like items based off of 2D and 3D image search.
“Neiman Marcus has always been a source of inspiration to our customers,” said Wanda Gierhart, chief marketing officer, Neiman Marcus Group.. We know that Pinterest is one of our customers’ favorite ways to engage with our brand. Giving her the ability to purchase a product, as she discovers and is inspired by it, only enhances her shopping experience.”
Fabric and craft specialty retailer Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft Stores is also one of the first partners for Buyable Pins.
