Nash Finch hires new marketing head

MINNEAPOLIS Nash Finch has named Joseph Friedman to the new position of senior director of pharmacy marketing. He will report to Christopher Brown, evp of food distribution.

Friedman most recently served as director of pharmacy at Topco Associates, a privately held cooperative providing procurement, quality assurance, packaging, and other services exclusively for its member-owners which include supermarket retailers, wholesalers and foodservice companies. In addition to his most recent position, Friedman held other pharmacy management positions at Topco Associates starting in 1997. His background also includes sales positions at Glaxo Inc., serving as director of pharmacy for Larabida Children’s Hospital and Research Center.
