Must arrive by date for nwaRLUG luncheon is Dec. 8

12/2/2011

Pam Kohn and Cameron Geiger are the headliners at this year’s annual luncheon for the Northwest Arkansas chapter of the Retail Link Users Group also known as the nwaRLUG.

Organizers of the event expect upward of 800 people will attend the 13th annual affair, which couldn’t take place at a more opportune time considering the heightened emphasis Walmart has placed on store level execution and on-shelf availability as the only metric that matters when it comes to assessing in-stock.

Both are areas of focus for Kohn, Walmart’s EVP merchandise services, and Geiger, Sam’s Club’s VP merchandise planning and replenishment. Kohn is responsible for such things as merchandise execution, store layout, format and space productivity and replenishment, while Geiger oversees merchandise financial planning, space planning, and inventory management. The Retail Link user group’s steering committee couldn’t have found two better people to share the latest insights with the group of hard core supply chain practitioners involved with nwaRLUG who will be attending the year-end luncheon. There is still time to register by visiting www.nwaRLUG.org.
