MSLO clarifies Kmart home sales figure

NEW YORK Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia confirmed in an SEC filing today that it had mistakenly reported a 125% increase in sales of soft home products at Kmart stores for the one-week period following the brand's relaunch compared to the same week in 2006. According to reports, this information was disclosed at an advertising week conference in New York on Thursday.

In the SEC filing, the company clarified the information, saying that same-store sales for the company’s products at Kmart were up 28% for that week when compared to the same week in 2006, which included a 124% increase for fashion bedding, a segment of soft-home.
