mPOS provider Love Velvet joins Samsung Solutions Exchange

I Love Velvet, a leading provider of end-to-end, secure, mobile point-of-sale (mPOS) solutions, is now a member of the Samsung Solutions Exchange. The Samsung Solutions Exchange addresses the needs of line of business owners by creating holistic mobile solutions on a robust portfolio of enterprise-grade Samsung Mobile devices.



Coupled with Samsung Mobile devices, the I Love Velvet mobile point-of-sale solution offers three major components: Velvet mPOS hardware, Velvet store and Velvet cloud.



The modular mobile point-of-sale (mPOS) hardware turns a Samsung smartphone or tablet into a mPOS solution and enables the following business functions: credit card swipe, chip and PIN credit cards, 2-D barcode reader, Security Access Modules (SAM) chip capabilities, and RFID and NFC reader.



Velvet Store is an employee and customer facing point-of-sale application for Samsung Mobile devices to manage retail stores, display product specifications and images, browse store inventory, add and/or remove items from the customer shopping cart, cross-sell and up-sell additional products, add discounts and promotions, and process the shopping cart through to the payment portion of the transaction.



Velvet Cloud, or Back Office, is a cloud-based, multichannel, multi-location, multi-currency business management solution. The Velvet Cloud is designed to give up-to-the-minute transactional information based on specified store or group of stores, geography, products, discounts and promotions, employee management, and a host of detailed reports that can be accessed and managed from any wireless location.
