Movie Gallery ceo named to board of directors

DOTHAN, Ala. Movie Gallery announced that, effective Aug. 19, its board of directors has elected C.J. Gabriel, Jr., ceo of Movie Gallery, as a director, to fill the vacancy created by the previously announced departure of Joe Malugen from the board.

Gabriel stated, "I am pleased and honored that the board has elected me as a director. Movie Gallery is an increasingly strong company with much to be proud of and I am committed to taking the steps necessary to keep everyone focused on the future of the company.
