More stores for Hawaii

Target is scheduled to open its first store on Hawaii’s Big Island next month, after entering the nation’s 50th state in March with the opening of two stores on the island of Oahu. The Big Island store will be located in Kona. Plans also were recently approved for a fourth Hawaii Target store on the opposite side of the Big Island in Hilo. Construction of that store is expected to begin early next year with an opening planned for July 2011.
