MonkeyWish.com lands Target and Walmart
GAINESVILLE, Fla. — Universal gift registry MonkeyWish.com has added Target and Walmart to its growing list of retail affiliate partnerships, which now tops 100. The gift registry also has partnerships with Best Buy, Lord & Taylor, Nordstrom, Kohl's and Amazon.
The gift registry allows users to create free personalized wish lists and provides users access to products from retailers with which it is partnered.
"With the addition of these significant partnerships to our current list of retailers, we feel Monkeywish.com is poised to become the leading digital gift registry," says founder Kristi Taylor.
MonkeyWish.com has also launched a 2.0 version of its mobile application with enhancements that includes a comprehensive redesign including user interface and graphics, the ability to browse the web from the iPad and iPad mini app, personalization of wish lists with cover images and list icons and the ability to share lists with family and friends via email, Facebook and Twitter. Additionally, Facebook friends who are MonkeyWish.com members automatically appear in friends’ lists; non-members can be invited through social media sites as well.
"We took the input from our users and developed a faster, easier and more sleek version," says Taylor. "The response to the enhancements has been tremendous."
MonkeyWish.com has grown more than 300% in three months, and plans to continue expanding the services it offers to its users by including the creation of the MonkeyWish Mall. The mall will highlight deals and promotions offered by MonkeyWish.com's retail partners. These will then be extended to all members of MonkeyWish.com.
MonkeyWish.com was launched in 2011.
