Mobile commerce tech company gets new CEO
PALO ALTO, Calif. — Revel Touch, a technology provider in the mobile commerce space, has named Joe Davis as CEO.
Davis previously served as president and CEO of Coremetrics (acquired by IBM) and held executive roles at Nortel, PeopleSoft and IBM. As CEO of Revel Touch, he will be responsible for driving the company’s accelerating growth.

At Coremetrics, Davis was charged with the company’s turnaround, including a change in product strategy and a complete rebuilding of its technology, infrastructure and management team.Before joining Coremetrics as president and CEO, he led worldwide development, strategy, marketing and customer support operations for the CRM business arm within PeopleSoft, the world's second-largest enterprise application software company. Prior to his tenure at PeopleSoft, Davis served as president of Nortel Networks' eBusiness division, where he held full P&L responsibility for a division of 1,500 employees and over $300 million in revenues. Most recently, he served as CEO of SupportSpace, which provides premium technical support services to consumers through contracts with major OEMs and retailers.
