Michael Eisner to keynote supply chain conference

11/18/2008

BOSTON Michael Eisner, former ceo of the Walt Disney Company, will keynote AMR Research's 2009 Supply Chain Executive Conference, which will take place on May 27-29th at The Phoenician Resort in Scottsdale, Ariz.

The AMR Research Supply Chain Executive Conference is the next AMR Research event discussing the role that superior supply chain performance plays in contributing to overall business growth. This year's conference will focus on how consumer, business, and financial value are based on intellectual property, rather than simply low-cost manufacturing and distribution.

In his keynote, Eisner will lead discussion on how intangible assets like brands, design concepts, and even science can radically change the way business needs to work with the global supply chain. Under the leadership of Eisner, Disney revenue grew from $1.7 billion to more than $30 billion by focusing on the power of ideas, pursuing an innovative vision, and taking creative risks.
