mesh/Vivi Ristorante

2/1/2008

With its smart layout and creative seating, mesh offers a different dining experience each time a guest visits. By introducing a diagonal axis to organize the restaurant, the layout also provides drama and creates controlled views and glimpses throughout the 8,700-sq.-ft. restaurant, which includes indoor and outdoor seating, a large bar and rooms for private parties. A community dining table framed by a 30-ft.-by-12-ft. wine wall serves as the restaurant’s centerpiece. The wall serves not only as a very dramatic signature element in the space, but also veils the hustle and bustle of the kitchen. Varied materials and the use of bold colors help create a sense of space and offer a unique ambience throughout.

Floating curved wood panels give a sense of movement to Vivi Ristorante. The elegant, upbeat 3,832-sq.-ft. restaurant is located in the heart of Miami’s South Beach. The space boasts a sophisticated, stylish atmosphere, with marble floors, a mahogany bar and a partially open kitchen.
