Meijer plans nine new locations for 2008

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. Meijer plans to open nine new locations in 2008, according to spokeswoman Stacie Behler. Two of the new locations will be torn down and rebuilt on site in Michigan and the supercenter chain plans three new Michigan locations as well. It is also planning three new sites in Ohio and one in Illinois.
