Meijer Plans Nine New Locations

Grand Rapids, Mich., Meijer plans to open nine new locations in 2008, according to a company spokeswoman. Two of the new locations will be torn down and rebuilt onsite in Michigan. The supercenter chain has plans for three new Michigan locations as well. It is also planning three new sites in Ohio and one in Illinois.
