Maute joins CBX as senior vp/partner

NEW YORK CBX, a branding and design company with clients including CadburySchwepps and Pathmark Stores, has announced that Todd Maute has joined the company as a senior vp/partner.

In his new role, Maute will focus on expanding CBX’s retail environment capabilities in the areas of marketing, retail brand development, package design, market research and category management. He will work with existing and new clients across multiple channels of trade.

Maute comes to CBX from Daymon Worldwide, an international sales and marketing company, where he was recruited in 1994 to develop an advertising group dedicated to helping retailers across 10 different channels market their private label brands. Later, as vp of marketing, he was responsible for the firm’s independent package design unit, Daymon Worldwide Design, while also directing category management, research and merchandising, and global marketing initiatives.
