Maui General Store Foresees Merger by Year-End

Hana, Hawaii, Maui General Store, Inc. announced plans to consummate a merger or acquisition by the end of this year. Maui has already had several meetings with potential candidates.

“I feel confident that Maui General Store will initiate a merger or acquisition in the coming months prior to the end of this year,” said CEO and president Richard Miller. “We are dedicated to providing our shareholders with a solid book value and a successful company. We have worked too hard and long to let anything else happen.’’
